Richard Hughes Dip CBH, is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist who specialises in one-on-one, short-term coaching sessions.
Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool for overcoming anxiety, work-related stress, low confidence, resilience building, ‘reactive depression’, (which may be associated with the loss of a job or the end of a relationship), phobias (social, experiential or object based) and habits (smoking, nail-biting, over-eating, for example).
CBH is also an excellent tool to help us navigate turning points in our life, from student to professional, becoming a family, retirement, or what is sometimes referred to as the ‘mid-life leap’, when we question all the wisdom and decisions we made in our 20s and 30s. It’s evidence based and thousands of clinical research studies on Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy have been published.
Richard Hughes’ aim is simple: to help people achieve greater well-being and to live self-autonomous lives.
Prior to becoming a hypnotherapist Richard was a senior executive in the commercial sector and for nine years ran his own television production company, so he has first-hand experience of what’s associated with business and a full-on career, both the good, the bad and the challenging.
Richard has also personally benefitted from hypnotherapy, ‘being short-term, goal-orientated and practical in approach suits me. When it comes to dealing with the day to day issues we all face, it can be hugely beneficial’.
