Read the latest update on Chelsea Health Club & Spa

Following the Government’s announcement, we are delighted to be able to welcome you back to Chelsea Health Club and Spa as soon as possible! The safety of our members and team remains our top priority and we will announce our reopening date soon. In the meantime, we are continuing to work with the guidance provided to ensure we reopen to the highest standard.

 

There will be some necessary changes around the health club to ensure we deliver an even safer place to train. We will provide full details before we reopen, however, below are some likely changes to expect:

 

Safety:
We have created appropriate socially-distanced zones around the entire club to ensure we maintain a safe environment. This is clear in each area from the café, through to the gym, swimming pool and spa areas. The swimming pool will have single lane use, and a clearly marked one-way directional system on the gym floor will ensure you can train in a safe space. We will be limiting the member capacity of the club, including smaller class sizes, by introducing a booking system for all visits to the Health Club.

 

Cleanliness:

There are extra cleaning measures in place in line with Government guidance and best practice. As normal, the entire club will be deep cleaned every night with an intense disinfectant treatment. In addition to this, the club will be closed daily between 14:00-16:00 to ensure thorough cleaning is undertaken between morning and afternoon visitors.

 

There are more hand sanitising stations around the club and so we request you regularly clean your hands during your visit. We ask that you also sanitise your hands before entering the Health Club to keep yourself and others safe.

 

Cleaning stations are located in all key areas on the gym floor for added peace of mind.

 

Booking:
We will use the Chelsea Health Club & Spa mobile app to ensure that all visits are pre-booked. You will still be able to attend your regular classes and see your favourite personal trainer, we just request that it’s booked in advance. This is to help us maintain social distancing measures by keeping capacity under new limits. On the plus side, this means more space for your workouts and never having to wait for a machine!

 

A Covid-19 disclosure form must be completed prior to your arrival and this will be stored safely and in accordance with GDPR protocols.

 

Our dedicated team will be comprehensively trained on our new cleaning and safety measures to ensure an even safer environment for you to enjoy.

 

We are committed to keeping you safe and so we request that you commit to playing your part and ensuring the following:

  • Wash your hands as often as you can
  • Maintain social distancing measures as instructed by CHC staff
  • Do not come to the health club with Covid-19 symptoms, please stay at home
