Like many of you, we’ve really missed being able to see our friends and colleagues and we are looking forward to getting back into a fitness routine. With this in mind, we are excited to welcome you back to the Chelsea Health Club and Spa from 0600 hours on the 12 April! (*Date pending final Government approval on 5 April.)
We wanted to provide reassurance that your monthly direct debit will not restart until 12 April – whereby the calculated sum will have the 11 days owed from December’s payment deducted.
We know that you may have questions about your membership, and we have answered some of these below. As always, we will endeavour to keep you updated as and when changes arise. Alternatively, please head to the FAQ’s section of our website which is updated frequently.
All of the main facilities will be open from 12 April and we will continue to implement the booking system for all activities, including the 30-minute swimming slots and booking gym floor time. In addition, the ‘strike system’ will continue to be in operation.
The Spa will be open as usual with majority of treatments available in the hair salon as well as the nail salon, plus all body and facial treatments.
Pending government approval, the steam rooms, saunas and Moroccan Hammam will re-open from Monday 17 May and we are currently working on the studio class timetable – more information on this will be issued in due course.
The Club will adopt the regular procedures relating to freezing memberships as set out in our Terms & Conditions Clause 7.0.
Members can freeze their monthly membership fees a maximum of three times per rolling 12-month period. This does not include the months that the Club was closed during lockdown.
Home Matchday Closures
Chelsea FC will continue to close the Health Club and Spa on and around home matchdays for the remainder of the football season, and pro rata adjustments will be made to the following month’s subscriptions.
In the meantime, as part of our commitment to our members’ wellbeing, we are excited to be launching the ‘New You’ health packages, delivered jointly by the Spa and Fitness teams.
